Welcome to the Oakwood Service Unit!

Oakwood supports troops in the Green Township, Bridgetown, and Cheviot areas, including those attending St. Aloysius Gonzaga, St. Jude, and Our Lady of the Visitation schools.

The purpose of the service unit is to provide girls with access to the Girl Scout program through the development and support of troops, troop leaders, and beyond-the-troop activities. Service units provide this support by organizing troops, providing program and training resources, and recruiting adult volunteers to work with girls in carrying out the Girl Scout program.

Our first service unit meeting of the year will be Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 7:07 p.m. in the Church Hall at Visitation. August roundtable materials are available through your parish coordinator.
